Did y'all hear about Estee Lauder's new ad for their M.A.C. line?

I watched the video and the line was edited out, but still.

I really hate name-calling in politics, but moreover, I hate how so-called "feminists" go after other women as much, if not more, than anything else they fight.

I also hate the stereotype that we conservative types are prudish, unsexy, and no fun.

ARGH.

I read about this too and I can't get over the appalling stupidity of a company not giving much thought to insulting a good portion of their customers for no good reason. It's one thing if Sandra "Won't She Ever Go Away Because She Was Never Really Funny" Bernhard blurted it out while shooting the ad and they decided to edit it out before showing it to the public. Okay, no harm done. But putting it online and then not even issuing an apology after editing out the comments shows their original intent was to be "controversial" and generate "buzz" by insulting conservatives. Such is the mindset of people whose heads are shoved up their Manhattanite rear ends.

I sent MAC an e-mail saying that this thin-lipped right wing Republican bitch who has purchased MAC products since 1993 will do so no longer and I will take my evil Republican dollars to hex other companies instead.

I hate it when women complain about men treating women horribly but then they don't even treat other women well either. Like the phrase "cat fight." Now, I've seen real cats fight and I find it at least slightly offensive that men use that term to describe two females fighting. And no woman likes to be called a bitch by a man or another female, yet they do it ALL THE TIME. All these women are complaining about double standards and yet they are the ones setting a lot of them up!

That ad is tasteless, by the way.

Wait... they got one of the ugliest women in show business to advertise cosmetics? Darlin', ain't no amount of makeup gonna help you. And frankly, it would take a more talented plastic surgeon than has ever been born.

Her lips are the least of her worries.
