Arrow Trucking, a Tulsa, OK carrier ceased operations on Tuesday stranding about a 1,000 drivers and leaving 300 support personnell with out jobs.Story here 
There is a organization Truckers Charity trying to get these folks home at least. Their website is here. 

I just cleaned out the couple of bucks in my paypal account to add to this effort, If anyone has anything to throw into it it can only help.  So wrong to happen at this time of year.

Having just driven a 17' truck and towing my car 1500 miles, I have a very great respect for over the road truckers. I've also been selling quite of bit of extra stuff on ebay, so I've done what all of us money-grubbing, profit-loving, greedy right-wingers do and made a donation. While I could use the money, these folks can use it more.

Just drove about 1,000 miles cross country to get my truck driving friend home right before Arrow told him that they were shutting their doors for good. Funny thing is that him and many others have been watching the writing on the wall for a long time on this.
