This was posted as an AOL headline. I have never seen ANYTHING posted as an AOL headline that wasn't squishy and stinking of liberalism... then again the article does make it all about them.
Why this liberal Democrat voted Republican in New Jersey
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross famously described the five stages of grief. Many supporters of Barack Obama, like myself, are going through a similar process to justify voting for a Republican in yesterday's election.
The last thing this liberal member of the media elite -- as perceived by many of our readers -- ever expected to do was vote for a Republican like Chris Christie for governor and reject incumbent Jon Corzine (pictured). But in my home state of New Jersey, the Democrats are more often part of the problem rather than the solution. My disgust with the party of my registration is a long time coming.

Date: 2009-11-05 02:37 am (UTC)Exactly! That's why I hate that we're forced into using labels like conservative/liberal, Right/Left, Republican/Democrat.
What needs to be looked at are the issues, and what is right or wrong. Glad this person is doing that, and then voting accordingly.
