England's Ron Paul?

Even though I'm a proud American, I like to keep cognizant of what's going on in the world, particularly the UK. I regularly read British news online, though mostly the Daily Mail.

A recent article  there talks about Peter Davies, the mayor of Doncaster. Considering the other bleak articles about the future of England, it's really a breath of fresh air to read about this guy.

Any thoughts?
