Rep Dina Titus is a tool. There are several small snippets from her supposed townhalls in town. one follows. he who speaks louder or drowns out the majority wins in this one, less than 2 minutes. (edit) i just read an article on why the unions are showing up en-mass beyond being PAID to do so = their monstrous healthcare costs can no longer be paid so it must be shoved off onto government.

meanwhile, caught w/ his pants down in many regards, Ensign our formerly reasonable Senator has chickened out and is having a Tele-townhall along w/ the spineless dem reps of our state. I called to put myself on the list as well as aid my views as someone who previously voted for him. no email confirmation will be sent. neither will i know when/if/which townhall i will be called for. I was told that up to 70K people can participate via phone. The phone system is run via the senate. (i wonder who won the contract and how much that cost over-ran us?) one can select to listgen or cue for questions. (ehem) supposedly the senator couldn't find a big enough venue to have a townhall. i suggested several and gee, he could sure find a big enough place let alone time when he was campaigning. well why should there be any differnce now? no answer. i also reiterated the selection process is more like blocking w/ the phone system. there is a completely different dynamic live. of course my views were merely noted and they moved on to the next phone call... grr...

and last, an early quote from Ronald Reagan which was found on a news source today. VERY telling.
"Now back in 1927 an American socialist, Norman Thomas, six times candidate for president on the Socialist Party ticket, said the American people would never vote for socialism. But he said under the name of liberalism the American people will adopt every fragment of the socialist program. One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It's very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project. Most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can't afford it." --Ronald Reagan on health care in 1961
