Got that one from Dennis Prager ;).

If you're old enough to remember the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 in December 1988, the worst terrorist attack on American civilians prior to September 11, 2001, then you're probably outraged over the a-holes in the Scottish government who let terrorist bastard Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Meghrani out of jail for "compassionate reasons," because he is deathly ill from prostate cancer.

(How's that NHS health care working for ya, Abe?)

Supposedly he had three months to live and they want him to live out the rest of his days in Libya with his family and friends. Awww.

Where was this jerk's "mercy" when he thought it was funny to kill 270 people? He has never expressed remorse for his crime. 270 people, including several college students, never got to spend a second more with their families and friends. But as is the case in much of socialist Europe, the justice system doesn't give a crap about victims, only about its own moral vanity. Many judges and officials are virulently anti-American.

So the murderer of 270 people goes home to Libya on a nice chartered jet (too bad nobody blew THAT one up) to a hero's welcome. The Scottish government should be ashamed of itself. It's also a reminder of why I think Mossad was 100% justified in assassinating the Palestinian terrorists who killed the Israeli Olympic athletes in Munich (and that's why the movie Munich made me sick to my stomach). The Israeli government knew that if the terrorists were tried and imprisoned in Europe, they'd either get busted out or would serve less time in jail than you would serve here for writing bad checks.

If I were the parent of one of those kids killed on Pan Am 103, I'd look into a hitman to cap that POS's heinie. We don't know if this guy is going to hang on three months or three years. Why make the devil wait?

Meanwhile, out here in Cali, Susan Atkins, one of the Manson family murderers whose own heinie should've been gassed back in 1970--thank you Supreme Court liberals--wants out of jail because she is dying from brain cancer. She also wants to spend her last days breathing free air.

Again, I ask, where was Miss Atkins's mercy when she stabbed Sharon Tate, even as Tate was begging for the life of her soon-to-be-born child? Tate and her baby were never able to live out their days the way they wanted, and neither should Atkins.

Amen to every word.

I wonder what kind of moral sickness exists in a society when we give compassion to murderers and contempt to their victims.

We see this happening more and more often. I do not comprehend it.

Agreed. If they let Atkins out, I will be so angry... but not surprised.

I was not the least bit surprised. I kept saying yesterday, "He has a life sentence. He is supposed to die in jail!"
