So, according to Nancy Pelosi and the DNC, when right-wing people show up in droves to protest, vent their anger, and ask questions of their representatives, they are "un-American", or perhaps simply "astroturf" a.k.a. paid shills or swastika-carrying nutjobs, or maybe an "angry mob," "brown shirts" (a reference to Nazis), "tea baggers" (a crude sexual reference), "fringe birthers" and "extremists," etc.

But when anti-war protesters shouted during her own speech three years ago, they were patriots! "I'm a fan of disruptors," she told them.

Wow. The hypocrisy, it burns!

Also, this just in: A new Gallup Poll released last Friday reveals that there are more conservatives than liberals in every state in the Union. Now that’s every state, including the liberal northeast.

Notice how the headline implies it's only in the South, while the table on page two of the article clearly shows EVERY STATE has more conservatives? Slick. I bet you won't hear about this on your evening news show, either, unless you watch Fox.

Perhaps that explains why Fox has more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined? [note the horrible bias and lack of logic in this article.]

I can't even watch the video, these people make me so sick.

But wow, that survey news is shocking to me. If that's so, then... why on earth is this country where it is? Why on earth is that man sitting in the White House?

I've always just assumed conservatives were a small minority.

I think Obama has been creating conservatives left and right since taking office.

I've always said that Clinton made me a born again conservative.

A column on Townhall.com by Michael Barone hit it on the nail: there are more conservatives than Republicans and there are more Democrats than liberals. Neither party understands this very well but if you think about it, it makes total sense.

Obama sold himself as redeeming figure beyond partisanship. His radical ideas and associations were obscured by much of the media. Hollywood and Madison Avenue made him into a pop culture phenomenon. A public weary of the Bush years and worried about the faltering economy bought it, even though there were red flags about Obama all over the place. (McCain's lousy campaign didn't help.) Hardly anyone voted for Obama because they wanted more government meddling and more spending.
