Unfortunately, much of that article focused on quotes about the "evil insurance companies". How dare they try and make a profit???

And we did hear a LOT about teh eval companies. Especially about how they spend so much on advertising.

Sadly, none of us knew about Massa's comments at the Pittsburgh event on Saturday. I've a feeling people might have been harsher if they'd known. I know I probably would have changed the line of my questionning if I'd known.

Yeah, the guy who said, "I don't care what my constituents think! It's all about me, me, me!"

And we want a-holes like that to determine what kind of care we get?

The phony sob stories--for I'm willing to bet they are ACORN or union shills--are targeting teh evil insurance companies. Well, how about introducing a real free market for health insurance where you can pick whatever plan works for you from wherever in the country? The argument that insurance companies have the power of life and death over you isn't exactly accurate either. You can always get the treatment you need, even if the company denies coverage. You just have to pay for it. If the government runs the health care system and it denies permission for treatment, you are SOL.
