My friends list is making me livid currently, so pardon me while I rant --

Believe it or not, talk of "death panels" is categorically not the first instance of hyperbole in this debate. Not by a bloody long shot. Before Palin (who is currently not holding an office, I might remind you) made her remarks, leading Democrats were publicly wringing their hands over the "Nazis" of the right. Indeed, they are still doing this! So why has LJ only now exploded into a flurry of overweening moral preening?

You are all a bunch of nauseating hypocrites, that's why. You will accept any tactic - any mendacity - that supports your point of view while jumping at the chance to heap opprobrium upon any ill-considered maneuver executed by your opposition. Sorry - I absolutely refuse to lay back and simply accept such a double standard - especially when there are union thugs out there on video throwing punches in support of Obama's plan.

I LOLEd at your icon. I remember seeing that icon everywhere during the 04 election from some of my 'witty' friend's list (many of which are not friends anymore).
