In a recent Whitehouse.gov blog entry and video, people are instructed to forward emails or blogs that counter the White House propaganda to flag@whitehouse.gov. I'm not joking. The link is posted below. She starts right off with a lie. At least the CBO thinks so. Maybe someone should report the congressional budget office to Obama.
Ratting out your neighbors to the White House? Is that America? Forwarding private emails to Barack Obama? Is he really asking us to do this? Liberals, Democrats, Libertarians, Progressives, chew on that for a moment. What if Bush asked you to forward emails to him so that he could track who is countering his propaganda. How would you react? Seriously, all joking aside because this is not a joke. This is deadly serious. What next, alien and sedition acts?
The DNC is calling us angry mobs organized by Rush Limbaugh and the insurance companies. Well, let me tell you right now, no insurance company, political activist, group, organization, party or anyone else is paying me one red cent to stand up against this oppression and speak out for freedom. So you want to rat me out to Obama? You want to forward my blog to the White House so that he can keep an eye on me? Go for it. Forward this:
We need state and local funding of healthcare for those who cannot afford it on their own. We don't need federal bureaucracy taking our money and buying our insurance for us.
We need competition between states and health insurance companies. We don't need the government handing out healthcare and putting private industry out of business.
We need more choices, not the government making our choices for us.
We need life saving care, not ways to end your life as painlessly as possible.
We need privacy and the ability to make our own choices about our health and lifestyle with our own doctor. We do not need the nationalization of our most intimate health records and our medical decisions made for us.
We need to be able to choose to have that life saving cancer treatment if we want to fight to live, not have the government decide whether it will cost too much.
We need deficit reduction, not a new trillion dollar plan. In the time it took you to read this far our national debt has increased another $2 million. By the time you get over shock from that last statement it will be up another $100,000.
We need honesty from our government. Obama is telling Americans they will be able to keep their healthcare, and then telling private fundraisers that his goal is to wean us off of private insurance and into a single payer plan. If anyone is spreading disinformation it is Barack Obama.
These are my words. These are not the words of some insurance company or Rush Limbaugh or the RNC. So go ahead and report me. flag@whitehouse.gov. You see, we are not Soviet Russia. We are not Nazi Germany. We are not Communist China. The First Amendment was not killed off so long ago that we have forgotten it. When you tell my friends, my neighbors, and the people I converse with to report what I say so that you can keep an eye on me, that does not shut me up. When you lie about those who oppose you and spread your dishonest propaganda that does not cause me to surrender. I am an American. I am a patriot. You will not silence me and I will not give up my freedoms lightly.
We have seen this type of bullying, propaganda, and intimidation enough times in the past to recognize it. We will not be silenced by that. And the more you try, the louder we will become. Since Thomas Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence, obstinate rebellion against tyranny has run through our blood stream.
So track me. I count it a badge of honor. In fact, Linda Douglas, mention me by name in your rebuttal, it will make me a hero to those who love freedom.

Ike has suggested forwarding this to the White House and asking like-minded friends to do the same. I'll leave that up to you, but it's not such a bad idea. Or maybe write your own?
