From the White House Website

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Holy. Hannah. Inna. Handbasket.

I said this fellah was going to be Woodrow Wilson redux.

Can we send them stuff from the actual bill? Because the whole thing looks fishy to me.

Yeah, is there a PDF of the bill? I'd love to e-mail it them.

um, I hate to say it, cause people tend to get bent out of shape when you make the comparison... but wasn't Nazi Germany all about reporting your friends and neighbors if they disagreed with what the government was spoon-feeding everyone?

I try to avoid the Nazi Germany references with anecdotes from Russia's tactics or as writerspleasure said pretty much any other totalitarian regime. Then I can always default to "1984" references. Mostly because bringing up Nazi Germany means that people ignore you.

Yeah.

I think reporting everything about this bill that comes out of the White House should about cover it. ;-D

Tons on people on Twitter are turning themselves in, because all we're doing is sharing audio and video of Obama's own speeches from several years ago and from today. That's misinformation, right?

We're also turning ourselves in, because that's what the White House really wants. It's like their little "right-wing extremist" thing. They want to know who opposes them. They want to watch us. I plan to send an email and turn myself in today. If we conservatives screw up their little project, they'll fail. So come and get me, jackasses.

As an example of beating these fools at their own game, anybody reading this is welcome to go to my LJ and look at the entry I've posted. It's the text of the letter I sent to the White House, complete with YouTube video links.

I urge others to do the same.

I'd be really interested to know if those Youtube videos disappear in the next couple of days.

Lots of people have posted them to their own accounts, and the audio of the first one has been played on the radio a lot already. They'd have a hard time yanking all of it.

Hahaha, I love it. Makes me wish I was back on my own computer so I could join in. Soon, though...

We had Fox News on last night in between watching our baseball game as we ate dinner and they were showing a meeting in Wisconsin where a bunch of folks were tearing to shreds the guy out there to pimp the lets turn America into a socialist health care system so it sucks like the rest of the world bill. It was funny. The audio wasn't good enough for me to catch all of what they were saying but the guy (Gates I think?) was flustered and angry beyond belief.

It gives me great joy to know that the American people although stupid enough to elect Obama are not stupid enough to want socialized medicine.

That e-mail address is actually "dirtyratsnitch@kneelb4obama.gov."

What else did you expect from the same team that formed a "Truth Squad" in Missouri to jail anyone who shows an ad making Dear Leader look bad?

Unacceptable.

That's all there is to say.

I think we ought to forward our Viagra / Cialis / natural sexual enhancement spam. If ever there was something fishy being sent around in email about health care, it's that stuff.
