A interesting mix of politics and fandom

My complete avoidance of TV main stream media made me really surprised to see this interview on a network that was not Fox.
I found it originally here, and as the writer says, the pwnage comes from the CNN reporter at around 4:20ish. A mouthpiece for a dying, repressive regime indeed!
It was the line from the professor at the very end at the video, however, that made me laugh at loud. "I am not the Mouth of Sauron."
... I'm not so sure about that.
And, on a completely unrelated note to this, and yet totally fandom related, I have a report of the Comic Con here and photos here. I figure that since this is a fan group, some of you would be interested. As the icon indicates, that's my main fandom, so it revolves around the Hobbit and Peter Jackson.
