On a More Frivolous Note

I'm a gamer and an X-Men fan who combines those two loves into playing in and running X-Men games online. Currently I'm tinkering together a game blending the x-movieverse and real life, with a power-hungry socialist President seeking to nationalize everything he can get his hands on ... including mutants. Alaska and a dozen or so midwestern states secede in protest, triggering off a second Civil War and dividing the country into armed camps. With people caught behind what are suddenly enemy lines, there's room for loyalists, resistance, spies, saboteurs, an underground railroad, rescue missions, raids, counter-raids, the list goes on.
Obviously, though, this game would need players (otherwise I might as well just write fanfic). So my question is, would there be any interest from the folks here in such a thing?
