Well, it appears that, at the same time as most Christians and Conservatives are deploring the murder of Dr. Tiller, Liberal Christians and Liberals are hailing him as a saint:

Based on this, perhaps Dr. Tillman was indeed a Saint...

I do not have the stomach to read the article right now. But I'd like to correct this idea of "liberal Christians".

I don't know how that term came to be, but anyone who considers this man a hero or martyr or saint of some sort is not a Christian. Maybe they think they are, but they are not. Anyone who can look upon the vile acts of child murder that this man performed as his livelihood and think it's something moral or positive in any way is not a follower of Jesus Christ.

This man's grossly immoral actions are not condoned by the teachings of Christ or the bible in general.

Liberal Christians would be any of those groups that meet in church shaped buildings but rely on their reason rather than the revelation of the scriptures. Their churches tend toward social justice issues rather than the faith once delivered. I attend a Church. (Capitalization is important to note here.) While no true Christian condones murder, true Christians are also against killing of the unborn.

That's what happens when these crackpots kill abortionists; as with that Slepian guy who was killed years ago, the murders turn people into martyrs who don't deserve to be martyrs. George Tiller did everything he could to play the system in Kansas because he was breaking the law. I don't care how often you tell yourself that you're really doing this to help women or preventing a lifetime of suffering for the babies you hack up, or even how much money you're making. I honestly don't know how this guy could've lived with himself.

This brings back all the same horrors of the murder of Dr. Slepian here in WNY. At least this crackpot wasn't the coward James Kopp was, using a high-powered rifle to shoot the man in his own home while his children stood only a few feet away.

As a Christian, I'm sorrier for the man now because he must answer for the blood of all 60,000 infants he slaughtered. He might have been able to rationalize it away on this side of the veil, but there is no way he can do it before the Almighty.
