Feb. 17th, 2009 09:05 amSo, I was reading a pretty excellent AU InuYasha fanfic centered around my favorite pairing. Exciting~! Right? Well, until it comes out that the main villain is now an army general who thinks some very anti-liberal, anti-Islam things and is after the main character of the fic because he's a reporter who's got a history of 'liberal pacifism'... And then the author throws in that he thinks Buddhism isn't quite as bad as being a Muslim, but who takes Buddhism seriously anyways?
The main character's love interest works for this man and will undoubtedly learn about his evil ways and go the right way.
Please to keeping your crazy ass politics out of my fandom. Thank you. I thought I was safe since the series originally takes place in 16th century Japan, but clearly I was wrong.

Hmm...I'm seeing more similarities between Obama and Naraku than any conservative I can think of!
