Who else is watching the Obama "press conference"?

"Uh...um...er....uh....ah....uh...."

Plus some generally pissy gesticulation and vocalizations pretty much are summing it up at this point. Oh, and someone asked him what he thought about A-Fraud.

I was driving home and he was on my favorite talk show station so I switched to sports and as luck would have it there isn't a free television in my house to watch him.

Sounds like I'm missing a lot..

The only thing I want to see on my TV right now is Jack Bauer.

Every time I hear people talk about his oh-so-amazing speaking skills, I wonder if they're talking about someone else!

The high point for me is when he said "slowering". That and his "O fuck, Biden has been talking to people again" look. And when the best adjective he could come up with to describe Iran was "unhelpful."

Gotta love groupthink. That's where we're headed. I mean, the man was basically telling us how we should think. It's only a matter of time. Expect me to disappear from the interwebs once the feds realize I'm on to their ebil plan.

Oh, Major Garrett, I love you. So hard.

Did anyone really think he'd be so hard on Iran? Part of me's surprised it even got mentioned. The only thing important right now is passing this stimulus package, damn it!

*dies*

I'm just thankfully I was tutoring tonight instead of having to deal with him...

Actually, I was tutoring, too. Heard him as I started up my car to drive home (I was listening to Sean Hannity on the way to work), but I quickly plugged my iPod into the stereo and listened to things that wouldn't make me want to hurt anybody instead.

I can't believe they let Huffington Post into the WH Press Corps. Or wait, yes I can believe that.

Change!

Sigh, we are doomed.

I was thinking that myself. He said, "So and so from HuffPost" and I was like, *o.0* SRSLY?

Also, ICON TWINS!

Yeah, the reporter asked a question about going after the Bush administration for crimes.

The reaction on Little Green Footballs, which had a running open thread, was "Huffington Post? WTF?"

I'm watching the dog show. I don't need anymore convincing that the stimulus plan is a Trojan Horse :P

That's because he's trying to make his first two weeks and office look better than Bush's entire 8 years...he's still living in the past and comparing apples to oranges.

These next four years are just going to be one big long campaign. It's all he knows how to do.

I live close to Elkhart. I've had to deal with swooning commentary on the radio all day because of his visit.

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/09/obama.conference.transcript/

For those who don't want to watch or missed it here's a transcript.

Obama "My view is also that nobody's above the law and, if there are clear instances of wrongdoing, that people should be prosecuted just like any ordinary citizen." ORLY? what about Geitner? Dodd? Daschel? um...your aunt?

I think this press conference needs a laugh track or a bs-o-meter.

I totally thought of the movie, "That thing you do" during the talent showcase with the chick using her arms to rate...yeah that was my first thought. *snickers*

Doesn't Obama have speechwriters? Didn't he practice his speech ahead of time?

Even Clinton's press conferences were more entertaining. At least he could talk 'to' people instead of 'at'.

And WTF was up with that A-Rod question? Could that reporter not think of anything 'useful' to ask? Sheesh.
