So let me get this straight, FLOTUSMO (First Lady Of The United States Michelle Obama), is supposed to select her dresses and their designers based on race rather than on personal taste?

I swear, I'm laughing so hard my mascara is running...

More proof that they want preferential treatment and not equality...

Who would "they" be?

This presidency is such a joke. It would actually be funny, if it wasn't something that should be taken seriously.

And remember, we're barely a week in. One week down, only 207 to go!

The star-struck left loves nothing more than shredding the threads of Celebrity Women who walk down the red carpet. It's just a warm up to the Oscars.

Anyone else remember all the flack Nancy Reagan got?

I think the only First Lady who did not get dissed on her clothes was Jackie Kennedy. That lady had class and knew how to dress. Michelle Obama is by no means Jackie Kennedy.

I think she's trying to be. Her Wardrobe remind me of Jackie-O, though.

Whatever happened to selecting dresses based on taste, not politics? Apparently there is no area of life where politics does not apply.

WTF? I get how the inauguration was a big moment for African Americans. But why does Michelle have to choose a dress based on the race of the designer? Why not (like she did) choose a dress based on looks and quality. When people act like that and continually bring things like that up, it makes it that much harder for people to just forget about race and let everyone be equal. I'm not saying that it's the main thing that holds back equality (because it isn't), but it helps. When people keep bringing these things up and expect preferential treatment, it just seems to make things worse. I wish FLOTUSMO would give them an earful.

The ironic thing is that the dress she DID choose was by Cuban-American Narciso Rodriguez, who is of part Afro-Cuban descent.

LOL! Oh, the amusement that comes when you play the race card and then stop.
