My parents live in Alaska, and I've been visiting over Christmas. Sarah Palin spoke tonight in Eagle River at a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Alaska's statehood - she was very funny and charming, as usual, even though it was about -20 degrees! I got a picture, and even though the quality is poor, I thought I'd share anyway. Hope everyone's having a great New Year so far!

LOVE YOUR ICON!! Where in AK do your parents live? I was born and raised there, but now live in Colorado. I'm in Fairbanks right now visiting some friends and it is currently -62 degrees. So enjoy the warm weather! : )
