I received a subscription for The Week, but it seems a bit liberal. Can anyone suggest some conservative "news in review"-type magazines I might want to look at instead?

Thanks!

National Review? My BF gets that and I always enjoy reading it.

Please don't send them here! And being as we just elected a conservative government a few months ago, I don't think they want to be here anyways ;) Send them to Sweden, Sweden has more of what liberals are looking for.

But where do the Canadians go when Canada goes right? Where were Canadian liberals threatening to go when Harper was elected, lol?

I'm not sure actually. I don't think they talk about moving anywhere, because they didn't think it was possible that Harper would be elected.

Newsweek, National Review, and The American Spectator.

Also, occasionally, Popular Mechanics is good for things like debunking the 9/11 conspiracy theories and explaining what really happened in Katrina.

Change Newswreck to US News and World Report.

Newsweek? Sorry, hon, but not even close. George Will is the only thing conservative about that publication.

Sorry. Thinking US News and World Report, typing Newsweak.

The Economist is not exactly right-leaning, but it's fairly middle of the road, and gives a decent world overview. (I don't like that the articles don't have author names.)

I really enjoy Newsmax. They have a good online site also.

A friend of mine gets The Weekly Standard, which seems to be pretty good from what I've read in it.

I receive The Week too. It's just short summaries of what was printed in newspapers/magazines in the US or around the world.

I get The National Review and Libertas but that one's a smaller publication for mostly college students who are involved with YAF (Young America Foundation, a conservative group). :) I love me some Nat'l Review.
