Ain't that the truth. I see "social justice" bandied about on campus all the time (including the student association *shudder*) by all the socialist groups.
Then again, the student association is a socialist group in of itself, especially with its huge campaign right now to "reduce tuition fees" (they're already decently low, thank you), talking about promoting "economic class diversity" in schools since apparently there are too many rich people (hello, that kind of diversity exists, most people I know in my school come from working-class backgrounds including myself, I only know one person in my school who could be classified as "rich"), all so people don't have to have much debt (hello, education is an investment, children, it was your choice to take it on).
And when I object to their schemes like this, they say I'm some sort of rich kid whose parents are paying everything and whatnot. Sorry, but no - no way my parents can afford it, I'm on full student loans, with more debt than most of the people complaining about the debt load, and I'm fine with that. I'm making an investment in my future.
Really, "reduce tuition fees!" is liberal code for "I don't think my education is worth it".
