Let's have some fun. :D

Here's the article. Now, if you could pick three songs to put on George W. Bush's iPod, what would they be?

My three:

1. George Strait - All My Exes Live In Texas
2. Toby Keith - Should've Been a Cowboy
3. Def Leppard - No Matter What

1. John Lennon - #9 Dream (I actually mentioned this when I sent him a birthday card last year, I'm a dork.)
2. Genesis - Burning Rope (for some reason this song always reminded me of Bush, during the election especially)
3. The Beatles - Golden Slumbers/Carry that Weight/The End (LMAO, during the election I would sing, "Bush, you're gonna carry that state..."

Yes, I'm a dork.

OMG, do NOT let Beatles fans connecting them to Bush at all. Back at the election, I know a gal who made some icons with Bush and Guliani with "Hard Day's Night" lyrics, and some anonymous arse left a scathing "how DARE you" note on the post. Not that she was all hurt by it, LOL, but they pretty much think that Beatles are water and Bush is oil. ;D

lol, I know what you mean!! I'm a huge Beatles/Lennon fan, and during the election almost everyone was like *grr look at the REPUBLICAN* and *whyaren'tyouforguncontroldon'tyouknowwhathappenedto...*
you know. But I like being both ;) I always say, "You know, Lennon could have been a Republican by now. Anything is possible." ;)

I also wrote THIS during the election:

1. Sonata Arctica -- Ain't Your Fairy Tale
2. The Right Brothers -- Bush Was Right
3. Manfred Mann -- Blinded by the Light

Yes, I'm heavy metal and hard rock. ^^

The ones that immediatly come to mind...

"Taking Care of Business" - Bachman-Turner Overdrive (mostly for the chorus ;-))
"Let's Get Together" - Canned Heat ('United we stand / divided we fall')
"Float On" - Modest Mouse (cause I think it's good "heart-thumping music" [I walk to it], and it has a positive message)

I like to think he'd have some good ol' standard patriotic songs: The Star-Spangled Banner, God Bless America, God Bless the USA.

Let the Eagles Soar, perhaps? *g*

Plus some great Sousa marches. Stars & Stripes Forever!

Van Halen "Right Now" (EVERY Republican played this that year!)
Lee Ann Womack "I Hope you Dance" (Always makes me think of him, not sure why.)
Chad Kroeger "Hero" (Until I found out this was from Spider Man, I honestly thought it was written about 9/11...)
