derringdo.livejournal.comWell, mostly just a shot at glory: a blog called the "Evangelical Outpost" is convoking a blog symposium on the subject of an essay by noted conservative David Gelernter, dealing with the concept of Americanism as a religion with its roots in Puritanism (Gelernter considers this A Good Thing, from what I can tell).
