LOL. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of South Park while watching this. XD
...and I dunno about you, but I was VERY disappointed that we didn't see the return of Cartman's Hippie Drill during the height of the Occupy nonsense.
Indeed. But the Hippie Drill episode was written when the series was at its best. These days, it's lukewarm, save for "You Got 0 Friends." I don't know if it's because "hit the opposition of the President", as they hit the Left hard during Bush, and then hit the Right during Obama, which is the pattern I've noted.
Oh, well, as per the Book of Mormons success, Trey and Matt might have other priorities, these days.
I think I got a thrill up my leg, watching him weep. Wait... no... I just pissed myself laughing.
Oh, Chrissy, Obama knows everything you know, and more. The difference is, he can't say half of it with Romeny on the stage, because he can't say it unopposed. If he tries to pull out the 47% comment, Romney can come back and ask about his bitter clingers. MSNBC talking points only succeed in a vaccuum. Let them be exposed to opposition, and it all falls apart. That's why Obama couldn't bring it up - it would show that the arguments really have no teeth, at best.
Yup, exactly! Bring up the 47% video and Romney has a Netflix-like selection of greatest hits to choose from, like the "bitter clingers" or "I'm for redistribution" or "non-violence is for rich people" or insinuating the government only gives money to white cities or white communities and not to black people in New Orleans. Especially THAT one.
I read a howler on Newsbusters about Norah O'Donnell's whining that Obama should have mentioned "contraceptive rights" and free mammograms. These people really do live on another planet.
Apparently I missed something pretty good while I was pointedly ignoring the debates last night.
(Before you get after me for ignoring the debates - my mind is made up based on the issues. Posturing for the camera and trying to make the other candidate look bad, while occasionally entertaining, isn't really a way to decide which one is best able to lead the country. YMMV.)

What planet do these people live on?

I'm glad, though. Good to see some of his worshipers are tiring of him. I only hope it's enough come November.
