Today I got to ask David Corn, the source of the Mother Jones "Romney Tape," why he released an incomplete video. I am hoping he responds, but I seriously doubt he will. You can see my "ask" below, as he is currently conducting a "Ask Me Anything" segment on Reddit:

If you go through the thread, you'll see its a giant, erm, "back patting" session and nobody else raised the question of the video being incomplete by his own admission. Its quite depressing. On Reddit there is a "karma" system where people can rate your post up or down. Mine has--amazingly--lasted longer than 5 minutes before being nuked below the visible threshold, but it is most definitely being rated down--just I'm getting enough rate-ups to keep it alive.

Anyway, I wanted to comment on the thing in Libya: it was just revealed the other day that the Ambassador was completely unprotected; the former Navy SEALs that were killed along with him and the other staffer were actually on a completely separate mission and just happened to be in the area at the time. Upon hearing the gunfire, they responded to see if they could help, and were killed. They just got elevated to a entirely new level of "heroic" in my mind. I mean, its one thing to die in the line of duty; its something different to lay down your life without being told or even asked to. It just shows the character of these men, and it makes my heart heavy to think that none of the Americans who died that day are getting any justice from this administration.

The murder of our ambassador was an assassination. The radicals of Libya meant to kill him because he was making things work in Libya for the moderates. Radicals couldn't abide this. They want ALL of the power. The other embassy riots were timed with the one in Libya to make it look like there were various groups protesting the lame Mohammed film trailer. The whole goal was to kill Christopher Stevens.

You know, all these liberals are shouting about how they "got" Romney or something... but he's right! He's absolutely right about the 47%. Those people won't vote for Romney because they're afraid that Romney may change or reform welfare and then they'd *gasp* actually have to work for money!! With Obama they know their welfare money is safe because the Dems want them to stay dependent on the government. And so what if the rest of the country gets screwed over with Obama in office, as long as they don't have to work or anything. So I guess I fail to see how this is a BIG revelation or anything.

I consider Social Security to be a whole separate thing. When I say welfare, I'm thinking families with able-bodied parents/fathers/mothers, etc who *could* work, but choose not to. The people who cling to welfare not as a way to help them back on their feet, but to just use as their income until the end of time. (I sadly happen to know one such person who specifically got pregnant by a random guy just so she could get on welfare because she's that lazy) Senior citizens are different as those are people who can't or at least shouldn't work for one reason or another.

It's so frustrating there are people who need welfare who would use it to help themselves get back up and NOT be on welfare but of course, that's not who we're talking about, we're talking about the people who live off it. And the liberals flip out and are like, "WELFARE IS FABULOUS!" Yeah, if it's used properly, it's fine. But these days those who would use it to help themselves and not be reliant on it for long aren't able to because everyone else is using ot to live off of.

I heard the Romney video was recorded by Jimmy Carter's grandson as retribution for the comments about Carter's time in office. He wanted to get revenge for that.
