And for something that's a bit "fun:"

I wasn't surprised by my results very much, except for finding out that I side with Obama on the sciences. That's OK, though.

89% Romney, 85% (?!) Gary Johnson, 60% Virgil Goode, 39% Barack Obama
87% Republican, 75% Libertarian, 23% Green, 15% Democrat

Thanks for pointing to this site - it's fascinating to see one's results!

I got almost the same percentages you got, except I got more on the Democrat than the green.

ImageHuh. On the World's Shortest Political Quiz, I poll staunchly Libertarian. How'd I get such a strong Republican score even with the strong support for gay marriage and ending the drug war? Probably the boost to the capital R score was wanting to bomb Iran. What's a little nuclear strike--I mean, them accidentally blowing up their own nuclear facilities between friends?

I am not really surprised, except by the fact that I'm apparently a hard-core Republican. I like to think I'm more conservative-independent, but apparently I am not as non-conformist and free-wheeling as I thought. Darn.

I wasn't too surprised, but it was still fun. Of course with all of these quizzes there's always a couple of questions where none of the answers fit me.

Guess it's a good thing I'm voting for him then!

Not surprised. I think I'm pretty much in the middle of Republicans and Libertarians on most things. I voted for Barr, the Libertarian candidate, last election. I would this time if third parties were viable but I'm going with Romney, obviously.

How the hell do you guys side with Obama so much?

Hey, don't look at me, I'm only 24%. (And I am very unreasonably proud of being less-than-one-quarter in agreement with Obama.)

No idea! Maybe because I didn't specify if things were important to me or not? A lot of social issues aren't hat important to me in the long run.

Maybe. I coulda sworn the healthcare thing would have put me with Gary or somebody but what the hell. :|

Yeah that is a bit high. Also wasn't it his idea to defund NASA? Cuz I selected Pro Nasa I'm pretty sure and I was way low with him.

Virgil Goode is the candidate of the Constitution Party. He is being promoted by those conservatives who believe Romney is a socialist in the vein of Obama and that everyone should vote for a 'real' conservative candidate.

O_o I'm a libertarian? I knew I was transforming, but... GEEZ!

I've heard lots about Johnson and meant to check him out, but DUDE. 96% alignment??? Is that even possible with a candidate? I think I HAVE to vote for him if this thing turns out to be accurate just because of that!

I live in Texas; it's going Romney with or without me! \o/

(And no, that's not really a good thing to me; obviously I'm not a Romney fan. BUT I'm more at liberty with my republi-buddies to "throw away" my vote if I so choose.)

Yeah I live in CA; I could vote for Hilary and it would still go to Obama. I hear ya.

Interesting. I fall almost even between libertarianism and the Republican party:

Not surprised at all, really- there were a number of questions where none of the options really applied to me, though.
