And now, I rant.
Sep. 15th, 2011 01:51 pmThe hate-filled nutjobs' politicization of Kent Snyder's death in 2008 is horrible. The opponents of freedom close their eyes to the fact that *their* side has had control of our medical system and *their* side has created the huge costs we all pay every day. They forced insurance to be what it never was meant to be starting in the 1940s. Notice that Snyder had been in a hospital - i.e., was getting care? Viral pneumonia is no trivial illness. Notice how they provide no sourcing for anything, like claims that he died penniless (which they claim about Rand, likewise false). Also, they yell the family was "handed" a $400k bill - what is this, Soviet Russia? Families are not blood-liable. So they were "handed" it. Wow. All life stops at that point. No handing back is possible. This is how the left operates: create fact-free horror-show scenarios ("Ayn Rand died penniless on government welfare under an assumed name!!!") that hit at the instinctual reactions, again and again. Your time is coming to an end, REGRESSIVES. [Notice that the blogger below calls the writer for Gawker - Gawker?! - a reporter. So now Gawker is a news org? Welcome to the brave new world of the Comedians Al Franken and Keith Olbermann, as our Dear Leaders.]
