it's funny that we have a $106 trillion entitlements bomb hurtling toward our economy and not a defense department budget bomb. defense department spending is a small percentage compared to even the present, underestimated entitlement figures - ~24% of the fed gov's budget, even with iraq and afghan going on! the way the left talks i'd have thought the defense dept was at 80%+ of the federal gov's budget.
