Paul Ryan's Response

I thought Paul Ryan's response to the SOTU was very effective (if you missed it, the transcript can be found here).

It got me thinking: Given how generally well-received Ryan's speech was, do you think it's any coincidence that Obama was in Wisconsin, Ryan's home turf, today? Seems like a campaign move, then again maybe I'm giving him too much strategy credit.

Now that you mention it, there could be some connection. However, Wisconsin was probably picked before last night.

I thought Ryan's response was excellent. I really could see him running for President.

I just saw on Fox and Friends a clip where Obama said while he was going to Manitowoc, WI he found that a piece of Sputnik had crashed there in the 60s. I believe in coincidences but not this one. The real coincidence is Paul Ryan is from WI.
