therightfangirlI was listening to the Schnidt show, this afternoon. The guest host was discussing the planned reading of the Constitution and a caller claimed it was just a gimmick. The host axed him if he had ever read the constitution. His reply was "of course not."
Not "never got 'round to it."
Not "sorry, I haven't."
Not even, "nah, didn't feel like it."
No, it was "of course not." As it reading the constitution was some sort of strange, extremist activity that well-adjusted people ought not engage in.
