NYS governor- Cuomo 62% Paladino 34% (Paladino carried Western NY (Buffalo) by 54%)

US Senate incumbent Schumer over Townsend
US Senate incumbent Gillibrand over DioGuardi
Congress incumbent Higgins over Roberto (Too bad, I know Roberto and he's a great guy.)
Congress incumbent Slaughter (age 81) over Rowland (again, too bad. Jill would have made a great representative.)

NYS is blue to the core. *sad face*

I'm sure Chuckie is really bummed that Harry Ried managed to hold onto his seat. He really wants to be the Senate Majority Leader.

I saw Cuomo won and just ... *facepalm*

I am so glad I'm in Texas now. Although, we did have our share of idiots re-elected.

Yes, the incumbent democrats spent somewhere around 100 times more. They had/have huge war chests. Challengers can't get money from their party without a base war chest.
