William McGurn wrote a WSJ op-ed about the recent elitist theme to instantly de-legitimize any counter opinion to their own in the broadest terms (e.g., "you're anti-Muslim if you're against the Ground Zero mosque," or "you're anti-gay if you're against gay marriage," etc). It is the current form of discourse in America, and McGurn nails the issue properly. He was on Hugh Hewitt's radio show to discuss about the piece, yesterday, so I was inspired to post it here.
