Aug. 2nd, 2010 12:39 pmI got myself a refurb'd iTouch a few weeks ago and I am slowly fililng it up with apps and whatnot. I would like to get some recommendations for podcasts for conservative listeners.
I already have some of the WSJ stuff, but I am looking for more. What I saw, though, when I searched "conservative" was disappointing--at least from reading the content descriptions.
Also, and on a totally different tack, I guess Sheriff Paul down here made Drudge when he declared that the federal government is our enemy. I like Sheriff Paul. I think he might be a replacement for Sheriff Joe if ever he wanted to come up north to Maricopa County (Sheriff Joe can't be around forever, and I am concerned that this will be his last term and that his replacement will not be nearly as passionate about illegal immigration and law enforcement in general) but I think Pinal County would loathe to lose him. My only issue with him (and the other up-and-coming "famous" Sheriff Deaver--not big enough yet to be a "first name" guy) is that he supports McCain for some reason on border security. J.D. Hayworth has Sheriff Joe's endorsement, and its funny because as nutty as J.D. might be portrayed as, none of that will affect Sheriff Joe in any way because his reputation is so rock-solid, so Joe had absolutely nothing to lose by endorsing him. Sheriff Paul and Sheriff Deaver, though, aren't quite "there" yet and if McCain does his usual "run right, govern center-left" thing, then I think it might do them some damage. J.D. is losing mightily down here, by the way. McCain ads like this are really eating away at his single strength: border enforcement:
