Jersey Shore's Snooki sounds off about the upcoming tanning tax in the Obamacare bill. (At least, I believe the tanning tax is from the Obamacare bill, but feel free to correct me otherwise.) She also defended in how John McCain wouldn't have imposed such a tax, because "he’s pale and probably would want to be tan." I hear you, sister. Special thanks to Big Hollywood.

I never thought I'd agree with someone from the Jersey Shore, but I do.

This is another case of "my body my choice" only applying to abortion, it seems. Are you a few pounds overweight? Can't have that, let's tax soda and candy! Do you like to tan? Can't have that, let's tax the tanning salons!

Look, I don't go to tanning salons, because that's just not my bag, and it IS bad for your skin. That's the choice I've made for MY body. Pretty much everyone knows the risks of tanning, and yet a lot of people still do it. That's the choice they've made for THEIR bodies.

This stupid tanning tax is just another way to go after businesses, plain and simple.

Actually, I saw it more as a way to legislate people's health in an attempt to reduce their "burden on the state" when Obamacare goes into full effect.

Actually I see it as a way to reduce people's burden on insurance company rates for everyone else now. Medical experts applaud the move. At least there isn't an outright ban on the beds, like several other countries are considering.

Obama has created the "tanning bed conservative." Those UV rays upclose aren't good for you and that orange "glow" isn't flattering. But if Snooki wants to turn herself into a melanoma-spotted carrot, more power to her. My dad years ago said that when they went after the smokers eventually they were going to go after what people eat, people who wear hairspray and perfume, etc..

Heh, at the rate she's throwing down the grub, she'll be a Jenny Craig girl LONG before that. Or maybe a Valtrex spokesperson. They give that out to all the cast like it's candy.

You should have heard the shrieks of outrage from some liberals when they discovered that their precious perfumes were being "ruined" by those nasty perfume nannies. There are just some things the government shouldn't be involved in, namely anything that upsets them personally.

(I'm a bad person, so I'll admit I laughed at them.)

*twitch* He's pale and lives in Arizona. If he wants a tan, he can just go outside.

Snooki and John McCain in the same sentence. Just wow.
