I hadn't heard about her saying that sort of thing specifically, but I'm not surprised because a lot of the gay "community" is TICKED. A few months back The Advocate had this cover (http://blog.newsweek.com/photos/thegaggle/images/1097137/original.aspx).

Aww, I kinda liked her, though apparently I only ever saw her posts and not her snobby comments (until now). She came across as all libertarian and stuff. Too bad she was also totally rude and tactless. I hate when that happens. :-P

When I first joined, I used to think she was a good and likeable member of this group too. Then, she suddenly became condescending and hateful toward other individuals and groups.

I love this community for being about both politics and fandoms. I enjoy discussing politics and the series issues that affect people, but I also enjoy talking about TV series and movies. I have had a hard time settling in a fandom after Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers, so I consider this my all-purpose group.

It's really sort of a shame; the last topic she posted about could have lead to good discussion, but she never wanted to discuss, she wanted people to tell her how brilliant she was. And when others had other opinions, she called them ignorant and uneducated.

Never banned anyone for that sort of thing before, and I hope never to again, but she had to go.
