So tonight I got on X-Box live to get the update for Mass Effect 3 (Volus MP characters, bitches!!) and I noticed they had a political poll on the dash.

As I clicked on it to participate, I just kept asking myself, "Why am I doing this? This is just gunna make me feel shitty when it's like 9000% pro Obama!" But then I started noticing that all the results so far were on the Right's favor. And the final one, Who would you vote for? It was 42% Obama and 58% Romney. And I just had this moment of: OoO Oh my gamer bro's.....When did this happen?


PS: Just as an added whine, I hate how all the FANDOM tumblrs I follow keep putting out random political slaps to the face, with no warning whatsoever. And the big one, *cough*daunt*cough*... I would ask her politely to maybe put up some kinda INCOMING POLITICS so I can scroll through it without getting halfway through reading it before the slap comes....

But she will post the request back, and her followers will see, and they will bully people like no one's business if you think differently from her. Just 2 days ago I watched them all chase a girl off of dA for wanting het art only in her comm for a fandom that is already loaded with nothing but slash. And 2 weeks before that, I saw them completely DESTROY this other user who said she didn't like Elementary. All I want it the pretty art, people! None of the uninformed bull shit.

I'm a member of het_reccers a fic rec comm and someone just posted a reccomendation for a fic (for their 30day meme...favorite rl pairing) about Barak Obama & Michelle Obama(calling them cute) Hilary Clinton & Bill Clinton, and Joe Biden & Jill Biden, Nancy Pelosi & Paul Pelosi, and Rahm Emanuel & Amy Rule

I guess everyone is entitled to like the fic they like, but....
