"Sarah Palin's Alaska" Region 1 DVD's release date: 4/5/2011

Apparently, "Sarah Palin's Alaska" will be released on Region 1 DVD, come April 5th, 2011. TVshowsondvd.com has the details, including on the extras, so click onward.

Mod Post: A Few Announcements

A few announcements just to allow you all to be informed members! I know with the Christmas holidays some may have missed a few things, so this is an overview just in case you missed it!

+ Please go wish sopdetly farewell (here) and thank her for all that she has done for this community. Her presence will be greatly missed.

+ My introduction and feedback posts.

+ I will be posting a new "Summon a Mod" post in a few moments so I can be notified if you all see any problems. (My "moderating" will be similar to sopdetly's --- self ruling and me only stepping in when needed.)

+ A tagging system has been added to the community. It's not a requirement for posting, but it would be awesome if you could tag your entries as you post them. (A few of you have already begun doing this. Thank you!)

+ I am interested in temporarily taking on a few moderators to help with tagging all of the posts in this community as well as placing popular entries into the Memories. So if you think you are up to the task, please send me an LJ message. :)

I was listening to the Schnidt show, this afternoon. The guest host was discussing the planned reading of the Constitution and a caller claimed it was just a gimmick. The host axed him if he had ever read the constitution. His reply was "of course not."

Not "never got 'round to it."
Not "sorry, I haven't."
Not even, "nah, didn't feel like it."

No, it was "of course not." As it reading the constitution was some sort of strange, extremist activity that well-adjusted people ought not engage in.
