Personally, I cannot have much of an opinion because I do not understand the difference between Paycheck Fairness and Lily Ledbetter.


Also, I just saw on Fox&Friends the first Muslim superhero for American audience. I agree that Muslims are the most oppressed people in the world. Their oppressors are other Muslims in the name of Islam from their own country.

New estimates of ice melt from Earth's glaciers, made during a study tracking how water is transported across Earth's surface, find that the amount of ice lost to the seas is smaller than scientists previously thought. The new study also finds that Earth's center of mass is actually shifting. - Using new methods, the study researchers calculated new estimates of ice loss in Greenland and Antarctica that are significantly smaller than previous estimates. - The new estimates reflect the role that post-glacial rebound was found to play in current ice loss in Greenland and Antarctica. Post-glacial rebound is the response of the solid Earth to the retreat of glaciers. After the weight of ice from the land surface was removed as glaciers retreated at the end of the last Ice Age, the land under the ice rose and continues to slowly rise.

MOD: A bit AWOL.

Gals and guys, I am sorry to do this to you, but I will be a bit AWOL through this week.

The personal life issues I mentioned before have gotten worse, and this is the #1 busiest week at my job. I have a lot to juggle, and to be quite honest, this comm is way down the list of priorities at the moment.

Several of you have left comments offering to help mod—each offer is appreciated, truly, but I do mean it when I say I don't even have time to look at the offers and pick one or two people to help and explain what I need. I barely have time to write this post.

So what I'm asking of all of you is to up your understanding a little more, and if you have an issue, really decide if it's something I need to be immediately aware of before contacting me. If it's a tiff with another member, please please just agree to disagree and ignore each other for a while. If it's a troll, just ignore them—a post's OP can also screen any comment they wish. If it really is a serious issue that only I can fix, then go ahead and contact me, and I will get to it as soon as I am able.

When things calm down, I will probably once again put out feelers for a mod team, so if you've volunteered already, please consider if you'd like to do so on a more permanent basis, and look out for that.

Once again, I thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and I really hope to be back in my normal modding mode sooner rather than later.
