Anyone see this on CNN or The O'Reilly Factor last night? Apparently a Jihad website is issuing "warnings" against the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, due to last week's (and tonight's, since it's a continuation) where they rehashed their
previous "battle" with Comedy Central to allow them to air an image of the prophet Muhammad. If you missed it, here's an article/video with details:

South Park has been my favorite show for over a decade. The fact that they don't want to take sides with anyone, especially politically, is why I love them -- they exist as true satirists do, not allowing themselves to be blinded to things that deserve to be mocked. They have the... uh, cajones to say things no one else will; they actually are bold and edgy, instead of that "we-like-to-seem-edgy-but-really-we're-just-playing-it-safe-because-we-know-our-audience-agrees" feeling certain other shows maintain. *cough*FamilyGuy*cough* (For the record, I hated Family Guy well before I knew Trey and Matt do as well.)
Someone posted this thread on the official South Park site's forum yesterday. In fact, the entire forum is rife with fan support not to be shaken by these threats.I was watching the movie the other night, and ironically enough this whole situation seems strikingly similar: two men lampooned with death threats and war for "disgusting behavior," and their fans rile to their defense. I'm eager to see what tonight's episode will be like after all of this; I doubt they'll be allowed to show Muhammad, but it'll make for some interesting plot points I think. I sort of doubt anything will happen to them, but nonetheless, I'm a bit afraid for their safety.
