Michelle Malkin is reporting on the new Leftist smear for Tea Partiers: Tea Klanner. Either way, be prepared to any Tea Partier readers out there.

I'm not surprised, but I can be disgusted, all the same.

David Paul Kuhn: White men shun Democrats

Real Clear Politics.com's David Paul Kuhn recently wrote a fascinating look into a fading demographic of Democratic voters: the White male. The focus is mostly into economics, as they are the apparent driving force behind the WM voter. (For example, Candidate Obama didn't get his ultimate 41 percent of the WM vote until after the fiscal meltdown in September '08, which I didn't know.) In turn, it seems that the present government overreach is a major motivation for the exodus, according to the article's polls. It concludes with a nice finish about the Left's demagoguery and the often-overused "angry White male" meme.
Considering that I am one of them, my eyes were opened by the article's facts and positions. (I definitely want to read Kuhn's "The Neglected Voter: White Men and the Democratic Dilemma.") Of course, if the American Left ends up driving away and/or failing to appreciate such an essential voting bloc, they have only themselves to blame. At any rate, it's commentary I wanted to share.

a proclamation

i am the tea party, haters. i hate no man or woman for the color of their skin, the nature of their faith or creed so long as it is peaceful, or the choices they make in the privacy of their own homes or lives. the things you say about me say little about me but much about them. i believe in liberty in the original meaning of the word and good governance in the founders' original conception. we believe in the intrinsic goodness of life and of free people everywhere, and your misrepresentations are waning in power. i am the tea party, and my time is coming.
