While trying to pitch a sob story about a campaign worker who died from breast cancer (and of course drum up sympathy for gov't health care), Obama noted that the dying woman sent him a letter urging him to fight on and expressed her wish to be buried in an Obama t-shirt:

http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2010/02/obama-st-louis-campaign-supporter-died-of-breast-cancer-says-she-couldnt-afford-exam-but-breast-exams-are-free-to-poor-in-st-louis-video/#comments

It's bad enough this is another John Edwards-esque, fact-deficient maudlin story that the left loves to tell in order to get their way. It's bad enough when your realize that under the circumstances, those gov't death panels wouldn't have approved treatment for the dying woman either. But what clearly shocked the audience (note the laughter) was Obama literally putting himself into the poor woman's grave with the t-shirt bit. This guy's narcissism knows no bounds.

Especially when the people doing the bullying are doing so on the basis of outright lies.

I cannot tell you how many times I've heard people say about both online and real life situations, "I can't make known my conservative views about [insert issue here] because I'll get a flood of nasty comments." Or, "People will be angry/stop talking to me."

Watch this man. Listen to every single word he says. If you're like me and you remember things better when they are written rather than by simply listening, then take notes. I'd transcribe the entire thing except I'm having problems with my eyes.

I admire this guy so much. He is fearless. That's how we need to be. And you know what? It's not so hard. All you have to do is speak the truth. The other side has nothing to stand upon!

I think this is one of the most important videos you'll ever see. If you end up watching it and think so too, then pass it on.

Excellent, thought-provoking article from the Weekly Standard about rethinking "The Narrative" of American history that dominates our culture. It shows why liberals fight so hard to marginalize conservatives, and throws out a few hints as to what conservatives should do about it.
