If someone could make an icon of that I'd be forever in your debt.
Before the holiday I posted about the closing of Arrow trucking and the stranding of their drivers, as there are many folks working hard to get these folks home, I am somewhat surprised at how there has been absolutely nothing in the mainstream media about this. I am just wondering why a story with so much human interest (how other companies and individuals have stepped forward to get them home) has been basically ignored.
Is it because that it goes against the rosy picture of the economy that The Leader is attempting to put forward, or is because these folks were being helped without a government program? I mean really, if The Leader wished to push through another stimilus this would be a great story and allow him to take over another industry. I can't believe that they would waste a crisis like this, based on their track record.
Then again maybe the lack of attention is an example of just what exists in Washington today; an elite class that cares nothing for the average person, and would be embarrassed to be caught having to deal with one of them. While remaining blissfully ignorant of the very type of person who actually provides eveything in their lives.
