The slam on Barney Frank was a bit gratuitous even though I despise the creep, but it cuts right to what's wrong with things now and how we got here. I think the author underestimates the rest of us who know full well we're in deep doo-doo, but it's hard to disagree with the diagnosis.

you walk into a shop that has OBAMA BREATH MINTS along w/ the commemorative t-shirts, inauguration coffee cups, Pelosi books and as many Obama books w/ Michelle magazines as one can pack into a supposed news/book shop near gate 74. Of course there was a plethora of material. I assume those who voted for him en-mass can't afford to fly anymore hence the surplus. ;-0

Now if there was an actual Obama-head Pez dispenser, I may have actually bought it. THAT would be an appropriate, fitting, sarcastic commentary - w/ sugary never-ending, bad candies coming out of the mini-head.
