Tea Party!

I find out there's a pre tax day tea party not too far from where I live. Cool! So I attempt to drive down there to find there's no (free) parking, I'd left my cash at home, and the turnout was much higher than I expected. It looked like there were a few hundred people there already with more streaming in. There were people of all ages but much of the crowd looked like age 55+ retired military, of which there are many in San Diego. Lots of American flags and homemade signs, many of them calling out the epic fail of our state government and Congress. All I could do was honk and wave to the crowd :). I could have gone home, parked, and walked but since the rally was only to last an hour, by the time I do all of that, the show would be over.

Better luck next time with the tax day revolt at a nearby post office on the 15th. I'll have to see if I can get dropped off instead of driving over there.
