Taken from New York Magazine, a magazine that I've read/used for my blogging. As always, you make the call. Special thanks to hotair.com.

“[I]t is disappointing to watch what some have called the ‘year of the woman’ come to such an embarrassing conclusion. This was an election cycle in which candidates pandered to female voters, newsweeklies tried to figure out ‘what women want,’ and Hillary Clinton garnered 18 million votes toward winning the Democratic nomination. The assumption was that these ‘18 million cracks in the highest glass ceiling,’ as Clinton put it, would advance the prospects of female achievement and gender equality. It hasn’t exactly worked out that way.

In the grand Passion play that was this election, both Clinton and Palin came to represent—and, at times, reinforce—two of the most pernicious stereotypes that are applied to women: the bitch and the ditz.”

If Obama is Carter 2.0, Hillary is gunning to be Madelyn Albright 2.0....

I can't say I'm surprised by this.  What's that saying? "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer?"

On a slightly lighter note ....

PETA Takes On Cooking Mama

I swear these people set themselves up. It's almost comical ... oh, who am I kidding. It is comical.

I'll take from Tammy Bruce's commentary (source link is hers).

Newt Gingrich wants you to know that Palin will not be the future de facto GOP leader. I guess Newt knows because he's so in touch with what's been happening and what's good for the GOP. Which explains why the Repubs are in power now and the strongest, most visionary political party ever in the history of the United States. Because Newt knows what's best.
On that note, anyone know if Steele is for Palin, or not?

I need to get this out, because it's been bothering me so much lately. Obama is not like Hitler. The more people compare him to Hitler the more it reminds me of people doing the same to Bush. Seriously, Obama hasn't even been in office yet. How can one judge? Besides, this is America. We don't put up with dictators here. I just don't want our party to adopt the same annoying butthurt attitude the Dems have after losing an election. We've all been driven up the wall over all the Bush hate. Let's not lower ourselves to their level.
