In case you know anyone that is falling for this, set em straight.

Yes, ban those future books and concepts, with your great psychic powers, Sarah! Headdesk.

"What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?"

"One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy. The other kills her own food."

Excerpt: It never ceases to amaze me how the Left falls again and again into the old trap of underestimating politicians whom they don't understand. From Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher to George Bush and Mrs Palin, they do it every time. Because these characters talk a bit funny and have ridiculously antiquated views about faith, family and nation, because they haven't spent time bending the knee to the intellectual metropolitan elites, they can't be taken seriously...

I personally happen to LIKE her hair...but this is the girl who in Interior Design class was told I was stuck in the Nineties... :-P

They also have an article about Obama having ties at an early age to Saudi Arabia... http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/4821 Of course we'll forgive him because he was too naive to know what he was doing...he had just graduated from Colombia and as we know all college graduates are so naive to the world around them.

"Whenever we get too high-hat and too sophisticated for flag-waving, some thug nation decides we're a pushover all ready to be blackjacked. And it isn't long before we're looking up, mighty anxiously, to be sure the flag's still waving over us."
--Cagney as George Cohan c. 1930

Pulled for your cyncial amusement from a longer essay about black and white movies.

Some things never change, eh?

Oh, God bless the internet, our beloved omni-directional sludge pump. Heh. Seriously, this is going to rev up until Election Day, so we can't rest for even a second. Thank you, secular-progressives, for proving how "enlightened" you truly are.

Bob Dole once asked, "Where's the outrage?" Well, it has finally reared its head and is aimed squarely at US Weekly after its highly slanted offering about Governor Sarah Palin. An estimated 5 - 10 thousand have already canceled their subscriptions.

The outrage has also given birth to Boycott US Weekly website.

The NY Times' Judith Warner has now spoken her piece on Palin, and it's a doozy. You make the call. Don't worry; I'll have some fun NY Times wank to share next.

As you may know, one of the legitimate beefs on Palin is the "Troopergate" issue. Apparently, Patterico.com did quite a bit of researching, and anything you need to know on the matter, click the link. I may do my usual copy/paste later, but I'm not up for it right now. Anyway, enjoy.

At least, we can finally put this behind us. On to the next pseudo-scandal!

Palin is on this week's cover of Time Magazine. I'm almost finished with reading it and there are quite a few twists and back handed comments about her.

They paint Sarah out to be this complete cutthroat and backstabber of a politician. Like poisonous cotton candy. Cute with a great package but kills you if you don't watch out.

The bold print quote that I am currently looking at is "As Mayor, 'she asked the library how she could go about banning book. The Librarian was aghast.'" (Not even getting another quote that wouldn't shed a negative light on her.)

They mention Palin was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it but they fail to mention the REASON. (Also something about Wooten a cop who they have a dossier of evidence about as Time puts it: "Among the charges: he shot a moose without a permit a few years back." and apparently townspeople are ticked that she used that as one of the things against him...IT'S JUST A MOOSE PEOPLE! I'm sure the committee didn't just see that on his record and fire him.)

The article writer also states that many people in the town don't like Palin and that one night he was awoken and taken to someone's truck. That rumor turned out not to be true but the writer threatens, "but there will be plenty of more rumors to come."

The article mentions Bristol's pregnancy: "Her daughter's pregnancy is beyond her control, but the fact that she did not inform McCain's team about it until a day before he offered her the job has chagrined even her Republican backers."

That is the first time I've heard this...what Republicans aren't backing her because of this? Also it's not like Bristol all of the sudden LOOKED 5 months pregnant either. I wonder what the source is for this "fact". The article stated earlier that the entire town knew about it and thought that it was none of the media's business...which it isn't!

To end: "Her story while a powerful narrative for some women may have been rushed into circulation by Team McCain before it had been fully scoured for week spots."

LOL, Obama's story has so many holes that I could drive a double decker bus through them but I haven't seen them or anyone write up a story about him! *Urg*

You Know You’re a Republican/Democrat If…
Posted November 11, 2007 by M

You know you’re a Republican if you can’t stand your gay uncle, but you invite him to your son’s wedding because he’s rich.
You know you’re a Democrat if you can’t stand your rich uncle, but you invite him to your daughter’s graduation because he’s gay.

You know you’re a Republican if you support George Bush’s plan to put a man on Mars.
You know you’re a Democrat if you want that man to be George Bush.

You know you’re a Republican if you think Colin Powell might make a good President, if he weren’t black.
You know you’re a Democrat if you think Colin Powell might make a good President, if he weren’t conservative.

You know you’re a Republican if you think every Democrat is a closet Communist.
You know you’re a Democrat if you think every Republican is closeted.

You know you’re a Republican if you wouldn’t mind if the Commonwealth of Massachusetts seceded from the Union.
You know you’re a Democrat if you wish the Republic of Texas had never become a state.

You know you’re a Republican if you start off on third base and think you’ve hit a triple.
You know you’re a Democrat if you hit a single but believe you deserve a triple because the other team got one.

You know you’re a Republican if you believe the U.S. Constitution clearly supports strip mining.
You know you’re a Democrat if you believe the U.S. Constitution clearly supports strippers.

You know you’re a Republican if you can’t fathom that Abraham Lincoln was actually a Republican.
You know you’re a Democrat if you can’t fathom that Abraham Lincoln was actually a Republican.
