Oh noes, she said it. The "s" word: socialize. Take over the oil companies. Impose artificial price-restrictions on gas. Where is the MSM on this? Nowhere to be found, of course. Now, if only I'd been able to watch the proceedings live, because I heard that the oil company reps basically read Congress the riot-act over how its legislation over the years has served to do nothing but pigeon-hole the U.S. into its current situation by forbidding the oil companies from exploiting reserves within our own borders. It was a very Steve Urkel "did I do that?" moment for Congress.

If something like this actually happened, I think it'd be the second foot in the grave for free enterprise and capitalism and all they'd have to do is nail the coffin shut and we'd be Europe.
