MAC responds!

I fired off an e-mail to MAC concerning their Sandra Bernhard video and here is the response I got from their customer service:

We want you to know that we have heard you. As a loyal consumer you took the time to share with us your dissatisfaction regarding the M.A.C. Plushglass video featuring Sandra Bernhard and we thank you. We have decided to remove the video from the M.A.C. website.

We apologize for any distress this might have caused you and can assure you that Sandra Bernhard's political views are not shared by our Company. We hope that our response allays any question that you may have had regarding our Company's intent and commitment to our customers.

Make of that what ye will but at least they paid attention to the complaints. It's my estimation that the marketing geniuses thought they'd catch some controversy and some buzz off of "Ms." Bernhard's statements, otherwise they would have just edited out her Republican-hating rant before putting the video online instead of waiting for the poop to hit the blogosphere fan.

And why would you put a 50 year old unattractive nut to pimp your makeup anyway?
