The husband just returned from seeing "V for Vendetta." We're both fans of the Moore comics, so despite the buzz, he had to see for himself.

He did: "Everything you warned me of, and more."

You'd think a movie poster that deliberately invokes Stalinist-era propaganda (as a good thing--!) would be warning enough, but no... I suppose I shouldn't give the man grief for having to learn it the hard way: I patronize that shop too often myself.

So, if the idea of inserting a Rush Limbaugh look-alike (complete with abuse of prescription drugs! I am, as the Barry-meister would say, not making this up!) into the story as a villain is your idea of Too Clever By Half, then this one's for you.

If not. Well...
