Conservative-positive movies?

kali-kali.livejournal.comI've been wondering about this, and figured what better place to ask than a place of conservative fangirls.
We see lots of movies, where a character starts out somewhat conservative, and then gradually becomes more liberal, because this is "good" (i.e, Grease, Mona Lisa Smile, etc.).
Are there any movies that show a character starting out liberal, but becoming conservative (and preferably not a religious conversion-type thing either, just a political shift)? Or even a conservative character in the midst of lots of liberals, but still persevering and staying true to their convictions (again, preferably non-religious in nature)?
Not holding out much hope, but hey, it's possible. Liberals scream that conservatives "control the media", but they must just mean news sources, since they definitely took the entertainment industry....
