All that stuff about "Sarah Palin writes at an eighth-grade level"? Does not mean she writes like an eighth-grader; it means she writes in a way that an eighth-grader can easily understand. After seeing a bit of commentary, I wiki'ed the evaluation they used. It pretty much speaks for itself; writing at an eighth-grade level by these standards is competent-to-good and does not mean that you have the brain of a thirteen-year-old. But that's all we're gonna hear...

And this is why the TV in my house never changes channels from Nick Jr. for my daughter. Palin-frenzy in the news reminds me of nothing so much as a bunch of schoolkids coming up with new and exciting ways to smear the class scapegoat, and it disgusts me beyond belief.

Okay, I've missed this one. I've been watching movies and enjoying a day off. What writings are they referring to? Her emails? Her books? Her speeches? And why are they trying to evaluate them? At least she can speak. Which is more than I can say for the painful way Obama reads the teleprompter.

And naturally, the reverse isn't applied to liberal women, as they are smarter and better than all of us, don'tcha know. However, given our low standards, as you pointed out, she's still a genius.

It's easy to hate the media, especially as it is so relentless. (Doesn't the Left ever sleep?) Mocking Palin was so 2008, so I go with that as my defense mechanism.

I cannot believe they're trying to pull that crap. Any EIGHTH-GRADER knows what writing at an eighth-grade level means!

People are still going on about the emails? My word. I mean, I know Anthony Weiner's one-man crash-and-burn show stole the spotlight away from Palin's emails right at the moment of greatest interest in them, but trying to drag interest back like this just looks like sour grapes.

Aren't there some legit news stories they could report on? Congress filing a lawsuit against the White House about Libya, for example? That's interesting. Why can't we hear news about that?

And if I remember correctly, Obama's DNC(or innaguration, i don't remember) speech was rated as 7-grader... so what?
